Job Summary
Provide dedicated, one-on-one care for pediatric patients with high acuity needs in the home, utilizing clinical judgment to build consistent relationships with children and families. Deliver skilled nursing in a calm, controlled environment while maintaining autonomy and continuity of care, supported by 24/7 clinical assistance and respiratory therapist mentorship. Ensure patient safety by following CDC guidelines with provided PPE, managing clear care plans and physician orders, and completing required training such as the DOEA-approved Alzheimer's course. Maintain an active Florida RN license, current BLS CPR certification, and experience or willingness to train in G-tube, trach, or vent care.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active Florida RN license
- Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
- G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
- Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
