Job Summary
RN for NTU Trauma/Neuro Pediatrics unit providing care to pediatric patients post-injury/illness/surgery. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care; coordinating with the health-care team; handling high-acuity cases (neuro, neurosurgery, orthopedics, rehabilitation) with ICU-level monitoring, patient and family communication, and documentation. Requires BSN (or willingness within 4 years) and active RN license with BLS; typical shift is full-time (36 hours/week) with night and weekend undesirables and shift differentials; involves lifting and movement with patient care, and frequent interactions with patients, families, and care providers.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN License in state of practice
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or willing to obtain within 4 years
