Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care for medically complex and technology-dependent children in a structured day health environment. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, holistic care; conduct daily assessments and monitor vital signs and developmental progress; administer medications and therapies (including G-tube nutrition and trach care); perform procedures such as catheter care, seizure management, wound care, and ventilator monitoring; maintain EMR documentation; participate in care plan development and family care conferences; support therapies and reinforce goals through the day; educate families on home care routines and equipment usage; ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in good standing in the state of practice
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Pediatric experience (2+ years preferred)
- Ability to educate families and caregivers on home care and medical equipment usage
