Job Summary
Conduct clinically oriented pediatric pulmonology in an inpatient setting, supporting robust consultative services in the hospital, PICU, PCICU, and NICU. Manage care for infants and children with bronchopulmonary dysplasia and developmental lung disorders, including technology-dependent populations and tracheostomy tube care. Perform general pulmonary inpatient and outpatient clinical work with expertise in flexible bronchoscopy, while providing leading pulmonary support for the multidisciplinary NICU-based Chronic Lung Care Program. Deliver weekly inpatient rounding, lead multi-disciplinary outpatient clinics, and actively participate in the institution's chapter of the BPD Collaborative. Join the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology at Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital as an academic assistant professor.
Required Qualifications
- experience with all aspects of clinical pediatric pulmonology
- working in the inpatient setting supporting a robust consultative service in the hospital, PICU, PCICU and NICU
- experience working with the technology dependent population
- experience managing tracheostomy tubes
- expertise with flexible bronchoscopy
- Interventional flexible bronchoscopy skills
- provide the leading pulmonary support for the multidisciplinary NICU based Chronic Lung Care (CLC) Program
- working closely with a team of providers including a neonatologist and a nurse practitioner
- weekly inpatient rounding
- multi-disciplinary outpatient clinics
- active involvement in the institutions chapter of the BPD Collaborative
- academic rank of assistant professor
