Job Summary
Pediatric Pulmonologist sought to provide clinical service to pediatric pulmonology patients at UW Health Kids locations, participate in clinical teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students, and engage in scholarly activity and research (CHS Track where applicable). The role involves participating in administrative and committee work to support clinical and scholarly missions, collaborating within an interdisciplinary clinical team, and contributing to a robust sleep medicine program and related research in pediatric respiratory diseases such as cystic fibrosis, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, and pulmonary hypertension; clinical duties are onsite in Madison, WI.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Pulmonology from the American Board of Pediatrics is required by the appointment start date
- Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Pediatric Pulmonology is required by the appointment start date
- Completion of an ACGME-approved pediatric residency program is required by the start date of the position
- WI Medical license by start date of position
- Board-certified or board eligible in Pediatrics by start date of the position
- Must be eligible for enrollment as a billing provider and for all necessary hospital privileges, by the start date of the position
- Education: MD, DO, or equivalent is required
