Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological and pediatric psychological assessments for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other neurodevelopmental disorders within the Inland Empire Autism Assessment Center of Excellence. Diagnose patients, develop reports, and provide referrals to ameliorate health and wellbeing concerns while collaborating with a transdisciplinary team. Supervise graduate psychology trainees and unlicensed staff, providing training in psychotherapeutic interventions and psychological assessment. Assist with neurodevelopmental evaluations in outpatient and inpatient settings across Loma Linda University Health Care clinics. Develop research projects, write grants, and contribute to publications based on collaborative efforts. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and adhere to a period of evaluation with a required criminal background check.

Required Qualifications

  • PhD/PsyD in Clinical Psychology
  • Licensed or license eligible in the state of California
  • Knowledge of the various psychosocial aspects of commonly referred medical conditions
  • Proficiency with basic cognitive, psychological, and neuropsychological assessment
  • Ability to work with various people and departments to foster teamwork in the healthcare environment within Inland Empire Autism Assessment Center of Excellence (AAC)
  • Skill sets to work independently and with a transdisciplinary team
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of patient and healthcare information
  • Ability to provide comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, particularly those relevant to autism evaluations
  • Ability to work with transdisciplinary team to diagnose patients, develop reports, referral and recommendations to ameliorate health/wellbeing concerns of patients in a timely manner
  • Serve as one of the supervisors for psychology trainees and unlicensed staff
  • Provide training to graduate psychology trainees in the areas of pediatric psychology, psychotherapeutic interventions, and psychological assessment
  • California residency required upon start date

  • Expertise in assessment and diagnosis of Autism/Neurodevelopmental Disorders
  • Experience supervising graduate students/postdoctoral fellows
