Pediatric Private Duty Nursing

Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric clients in the home setting, managing medical equipment such as feeding tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators. Administer medications, respiratory treatments, and other prescribed therapies while monitoring and assessing patient conditions. Educate families on care techniques and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers to ensure comprehensive care. Document all care provided and maintain compliance with state regulations and professional nursing standards. Compensation is $30 per hour for LPNs or $45 per hour for RNs, with a requirement for a valid Georgia nursing license and one year of pediatric experience.
