Job Summary
Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy treatments under Supervising Physical Therapist goals and develop home exercise programs in partnership with caregivers. Collaborate with various providers to coordinate care and complete a minimum number of weekly patient visits. Submit patient chart updates, progress summaries, and call logs while adhering to agency policies and all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Maintain understanding of expectations through regular meetings with agency personnel. Requires an active Texas Physical Therapy license; bilingual candidates preferred. Mileage reimbursement and continuing education available.
Required Qualifications
- current/active license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Texas
- Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business
- Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser)
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years as a pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant
- Experience in a home-health setting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
