Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children with medically complex needs, providing direct physical therapy services in the home setting. Support skill development related to mobility, strength, balance, and gross motor development while monitoring progress to adjust plans for meaningful outcomes. Recommend adaptive equipment, train families on proper use, and partner closely with parents to encourage carryover between visits. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, family-centered care while maintaining accurate documentation of evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports. This role offers flexible part-time scheduling with caseloads ready to go in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including a $3,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program, DPT or equivalent
- Active Physical Therapy license in Texas
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
- Home health experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with children and families
