Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patient needs and develop home exercise programs with caregivers. Implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders while collaborating with various providers to coordinate care within the patients' medical neighborhoods. Complete a minimum weekly volume of patient visits and submit timely chart updates, progress summaries, and call logs. Adhere to all agency policies, federal, state, and local laws governing home-health pediatric physical therapy. Maintain active communication with agency personnel regarding expectations and standards.
Required Qualifications
- current/active license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Texas
- Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser)
- 3+ years as a pediatric Physical Therapist
- Experience in a home-health setting
- Specialty Certifications (example: PCS)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
