Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to improve strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence. Implement physician-approved plans of care using evidence-based interventions and provide caregiver education to support continued progress. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed while collaborating with interdisciplinary team members. Flexible scheduling with Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities allows you to choose your own days and hours. Gradual caseload ramp-up and manageable workloads support quality care. Sign-On Bonus available for eligible caseloads. MedCare Pediatric delivers therapy directly into homes, daycares, and schools to empower children to reach their fullest potential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current Texas Physical Therapy license, or eligible to obtain licensure before the anticipated start date
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
- Supervision of Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) is a plus but not required
