Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children with medically complex needs, providing direct physical therapy services in the home setting. Support gross motor development, mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence while monitoring progress and adjusting plans to achieve meaningful outcomes. Partner with parents and caregivers to ensure skill carryover into daily routines, recommend adaptive equipment, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for coordinated care. Maintain accurate documentation including evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling across the DFW area for licensed PTs seeking meaningful impact without a traditional clinic schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program, DPT or equivalent
- Active Physical Therapy license in Texas
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
- Home health experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with children and families
