Job Summary
The Pediatric Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients' needs for physical therapy and developing individualized treatment plans in accordance with Michigan state regulations. Key responsibilities include providing direct patient care, collaborating with the treatment team to establish and revise treatment goals, documenting patient progress, and educating patients and families about therapy procedures. The position requires expertise in pediatric therapy and adherence to best practices in patient care. Additionally, the therapist is expected to keep their skills updated through continuing education and actively participate in departmental meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
- Licensure with the State of Michigan
- Maintains BLS certification
