Job Summary
Evaluate and administer remedial treatments for pediatric patients in home health settings, including screenings, direct therapy, and caregiver training on home programming. Coordinate care with physicians, office staff, and other disciplines while maintaining records and referring patients to appropriate resources. Participate in Quality Assurance programs, mentor new hires, and serve as a backup service provider as needed. Manage caseloads with appropriate productivity while complying with all company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current state-issued professional license
- Valid state driver's license
- CPR certification
- Pediatric clinical experience
- Home health experience
- Ability to read and write in simple correspondence
- Effective public speaking in small groups
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to interpret instruction with the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, record keeping and routine database activity
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements
