Job Summary
Evaluate and administer remedial treatments for pediatric patients in home health settings, including screenings, evaluations, direct therapy, and caregiver training on home programming. Coordinate patient care with office staff and physicians while maintaining records and participating in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs. Manage caseloads with appropriate productivity, serve as a backup provider for other teams, and mentor students and new hires. Maintain supplies and equipment while engaging in professional development and public education activities. Requires a Master's degree in Physical Therapy, current state license, and pediatric clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current state-issued professional license
- Valid state driver's license
- CPR certification
- Pediatric clinical experience
- Home health experience
- Ability to read and write in simple correspondence
- Effective public speaking in small groups
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to interpret instruction with the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, record keeping and routine database activity
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements
