Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities while consulting, educating, and training patients, families, and caregivers. Collaborate with care teams to deliver patient-centered care, develop specific care plans based on assessments, and supervise assistants, aides, and students. Maintain thorough patient records, complete accurate billing, and participate in quality improvement processes, utilization review audits, and interdisciplinary meetings. Contribute to program development strategies and engage in continuing education for self and staff. This role supports the Layton Clinic within Intermountain Health, requiring a current license, BLS certification, and ability to lift heavy equipment and ambulate patients.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting.
