Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities in accordance with standard practices. Conduct evaluations and treatments based on diagnosis, history, and physician referrals while developing care plans with specific goals. Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers, and collaborate with care teams to deliver patient-centered care. Supervise assistants, aides, office staff, and students to ensure high-quality care, and participate in patient care conferences, interdisciplinary meetings, and quality improvement processes. Maintain thorough patient records, complete billing accurately, and contribute to program development and marketing strategies to achieve department goals. This role is based at the Layton Clinic in Layton, Utah, requiring 30 weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting.
