Job Summary
Deliver individualized, evidence-based pediatric physical therapy services to medically complex and medically fragile children. Perform evaluations, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and support positioning, transfers, mobility training, and adaptive equipment recommendations. Collaborate with nursing staff, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care while educating families on promoting long-term developmental progress. Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately using the Raintree EMR platform. Requires a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, current Florida licensure, and CPR certification. Competitive salary of $73,000-$100,000 with performance bonuses, comprehensive benefits, and tuition reimbursement. Monday-Friday schedule with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth within Great Strides Rehabilitation's PPEC center.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current Florida Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical reasoning skills
- Passion for working with children and delivering family-centered care
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered therapy
