Job Summary
Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist in accordance with physician-approved plans of care. Implement treatment plans to improve strength, balance, mobility, coordination, range of motion, endurance, gait, and functional independence. Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, positioning, mobility techniques, and home programs. Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care. Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation. Flexible scheduling with Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities allows you to choose your own days and hours. Pay ranges from $35.00 to $40.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
- Current Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license, or eligible to obtain licensure by the anticipated start date
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
