Job Summary
Provide direct patient care as a Pediatric Physiatrist in PM&R for inpatient and outpatient services, including subspecialty consultations and follow-up, diagnostic/therapeutic procedures, and participation in multidisciplinary clinics. Engage in educational roles with PM&R residency and medical student/fellow rotations, contribute to clinical research, and support programmatic growth within the Division. Opportunities exist for involvement in EMG/NCV, injections for spasticity and dystonia (e.g., SDR/ITB/DBS), and collaboration with affiliated institutions for potential faculty appointments. The role requires clinical privilege to provide patient care, supervise trainees when applicable, and maintain family-centered, evidence-based care across pediatric populations. The position is within the Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Tempe, AZ.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with pediatric PM&R specialization
- fellowship-trained pediatric PM&R
- Arizona medical license or eligibility
- board certification in PM&R or eligibility
