Job Summary
Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency, collect patients' personal information, and determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient. Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood, provide reassurance during the process, and correctly label samples for testing. This role involves collecting blood, tissue, and fluid samples to help patients identify underlying conditions and stay healthy. Schedule is Monday through Friday, ending at 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy diploma preferred
