Job Summary
Provide perfusion coverage for all open heart procedures, standby for all closed heart procedures, and standby for the Cardiac Cath Lab. Participate in ECMO start-up and troubleshooting and CPS; assist in submitting data for departmental budgeting; calculate and administer medications per policy; complete perfusion records; coordinate training of students and staff; collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team; monitor vitals and maintain targeted hemodynamics; adhere to medication administration policies and ensure safety. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in perfusion technology or equivalent
- American Heart Association BLS (CPR)
- Eligible to sit for national boards or actively pursuing certification (CCP)
