Job Summary
Pediatric Physician Assistant for the Special Care Nursery and Newborn Nursery in Waterbury, CT. Provides 24/7 coverage in SCN and Well Baby Nursery, attends high-risk deliveries, admits/manages infants with daily rounds and procedures, participates in pediatric codes and trauma responses in the Emergency Department, and performs procedures such as intubation, umbilical artery/vein catheterization, IV placement, lumbar punctures, and urinary catheterization within a high-acuity, collaborative neonatal-care setting affiliated with UConn Health/Waterbury Hospital.
