Job Summary
Pediatric Otolaryngologist sought to join a growing pediatric otolaryngology division at Phoenix Children's Hospital. The physician will provide direct inpatient and outpatient care, subspecialty consultations, and diagnostic/therapeutic procedures for a diverse pediatric population. Duties include teaching residents and medical students, supervising trainees and allied health professionals, and participating in research and divisional educational activities within the Mayo Clinic Arizona Otolaryngology Residency program and affiliated medical schools. Fellowship-trained BC/BE candidates with a focus on pediatric airway/aerodigestive conditions are preferred. The role supports a quaternary children’s hospital with extensive academic collaborations and opportunities for clinical and teaching leadership.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE fellowship-trained Pediatric Otolaryngologist
- Provide direct patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Subspecialty consultations and follow-up
- Diagnostic and therapeutic services/procedures
- Teaching and supervision of trainees and allied health professionals
- Engage in research initiatives (clinical or basic science)
- Academic affiliations with Mayo Clinic Arizona Otolaryngology Residency program and local medical schools
- Physician shall support division education programs and training rounds
- Ability to work after-hours or night call as needed
- Strong commitment to family-centered care and patient safety
