Job Summary
Pediatric orthopedic surgeon sought to establish a new practice in the western suburbs of Chicago within a large orthopedic group and the Chicagoland Children's Health Alliance. The role involves building a busy general pediatric orthopedic surgical practice with opportunities to develop subspecialty interests in fracture care, sports medicine, clubfoot, hip dysplasia, or limb deformity. The position is supported by a referral base of pediatricians and subspecialists, with comprehensive hospital-system support including pediatric anesthesiologists, radiology, child life services, neonatology, pediatric intensivists, hospitalists, and Physician Assistant support across the Endeavor-Northshore Orthopedic Sports and Spine Institute and affiliated sites (Edward Hospital, Elmhurst Hospital, and Advocate Children’s Hospital for PICU-level care). Requires Illinois medical license and board certification or eligibility. Must be board eligible in orthopedics with fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery.
Required Qualifications
- License: Medical License or license eligible in the state of Illinois
- DEA/Controlled Substance license or pending
- Certification: Board certified or Board eligible
- Fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery
- Be eligible for Illinois medical license
