Job Summary
Pediatric Optometrist providing ambulatory pediatric eye care at Mary Bridge Eye Center; conducts physical exams and creates individual care plans, orders imaging and diagnostic studies, interprets lab/results, educates families on disease processes and treatment plans, collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team, manages treatment and medications, stays updated on advancements in pediatric optometry, and participates in specialized programs and clinics.
Required Qualifications
- OD degree program accreditation by the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education (ACOE)
- Current unrestricted Washington state license to practice optometry
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
- 2 years of experience as a licensed optometrist in pediatric health care preferred
- Experience in Pediatric Optometry preferred
