Ophthalmic Technician responsible for assisting ophthalmologists during exams and surgeries, performing diagnostic tests (tonometry, refractions, A-Scans/IOL Master), preparing equipment and exam rooms, and communicating procedures and diagnoses to patients. Must display strong communication, problem-solving, organization, teamwork, and the ability to perform comprehensive workups on multiple patients per hour; background checks and drug testing as part of the hiring process.
