Job Summary
Travel Pediatric Operating Room - Surgical Technologist position. Supports the surgical team before, during, and after procedures by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile field, ensuring supplies and equipment are available, and passing instrumentation. Requires CST certification, BLS, FMOLHS competency exam, and the ability to float to additional units across locations. Schedule details: shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 13-week assignment, 10 hours per shift, 4 shifts per week. No on-call; up to 7 days off. Travel only with no local placements at FMOLHS, COVID vaccination after submission, and religious/medical declinations accepted. Certifications: CST NBSTSA and BLS. Location: Baton Rouge, LA.
Required Qualifications
- CST (Certified Surgical Technologist NBSTSA)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- FMOLHS competency exam
- Surgical Technologist (CST) certification)
- COVID vaccination required after submission

- Travel only; local not allowed
