Job Summary
Develop and support territory sales goals for Similac, PediaSure, and Pedialyte products across pediatric, OB/GYN, and family practice offices. Conduct comprehensive visits to hospitals and pharmacies, delivering product knowledge and clinical protocols to dietitians, physicians, and nurses. Manage new product launches, oversee budget management, and drive independent sales initiatives with a high degree of autonomy. Requires a Bachelor's degree, two years of sales experience, and strong technical knowledge of Abbott's nutrition portfolio. Full-time role with up to 50% travel, company car provided, and no relocation assistance. Base pay ranges from $61,300 to $122,700.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of two years sales experience
- Based out of Cranberry or Butler, PA area
- Up to 50% travel
- Comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols and guidelines
- Ability to deliver the information in a selling environment
- Understanding of the hierarchy of hospital departments such as NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries and Nursing units
- Ability to work effectively with Dietitians, Physicians and Nurses
- Effective administrative skills
- Budget management
- Ability to function independently with a high degree of initiative, independence, and autonomy
- Desire to be self-motivated, seeking out success at achieving both short and long term goals
