Job Summary
Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients' needs. Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders and create home exercise programs with caregivers. Collaborate with various providers to coordinate care and complete weekly patient visits. Submit chart updates, progress summaries, and call logs on time while adhering to all agency policies and state/federal regulations. Maintain understanding of expectations through regular meetings with agency personnel. Requires an active Texas Occupational Therapy license, flexibility to shift priorities, and ability to use common workplace technology. Bilingual candidates and those with home-health experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- current/active license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas
- Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser)
- Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business
- An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years as a pediatric Occupational Therapist
- Experience in a home-health setting
- Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (high-risk infant, etc.)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
