Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children with medically complex, developmental, or behavioral needs. Provide direct occupational therapy services in the home setting to support skill development across daily routines, including self-care, play, and sensory processing. Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and recommend adaptive equipment while training families on strategies for everyday life. Partner closely with parents to encourage carryover between visits and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for coordinated care. Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports. This PRN opportunity in Southeast Dallas offers ready-to-go caseloads and flexible scheduling for licensed therapists seeking meaningful work in the child's natural environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Texas
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting with positioning, transfers, and therapeutic activities as needed
