Job Summary
Provide individualized pediatric occupational therapy in the home setting, evaluating children to develop care plans and implementing treatment focused on fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and functional independence. Address adaptive equipment and environmental modifications while educating parents to maximize carryover between visits. Monitor progress, adjust care plans as needed, and collaborate with caregivers, physicians, and the broader care team. Complete accurate clinical documentation and build meaningful relationships with families throughout their care journey.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current Texas Occupational Therapist license
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license
- Ability to provide treatment under the supervision and direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain it
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel within an assigned service area
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Dependable, compassionate, and family-centered approach to care
