Job Summary
Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for children on your caseload. Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations while maintaining accurate and timely attendance and billing logs. Communicate with lead supervisors and coordinators regarding case management, create schedules with assigned families or school personnel, and collect data on IEP goals for quarterly reporting. Provide input and attend initial CSE meetings or annual reviews. Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals. This role supports children with special needs from birth to adulthood, offering flexible scheduling aligned with the school calendar.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current New York State Occupational Therapy License
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual is a plus
