Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children with medically complex needs, providing direct occupational therapy services in the home setting. Support skill development in fine motor, sensory processing, feeding, and self-care routines while monitoring progress to adjust plans for meaningful outcomes. Recommend adaptive equipment, train families on proper use, and partner closely with caregivers to ensure carryover between visits. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, family-centered care across the DFW area. Maintain accurate documentation including evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Texas
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
- Home health experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with children and families
- A compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented approach to care
- Commitment to providing high-quality, family-centered therapy
