Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children with medically complex needs, providing direct occupational therapy services in the home setting. Support skill development in fine motor, sensory processing, feeding, and self-care routines while monitoring progress and adjusting plans to ensure meaningful outcomes. Recommend adaptive equipment, train families on proper use, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care. Partner closely with parents to support carryover between visits and maintain accurate documentation including evaluations and progress reports. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling across the DFW area with a supportive clinical leadership team and access to professional development resources.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Texas
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
- Home health experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with children and families
