Job Summary
Evaluate assessment results and medical backgrounds to diagnose and create individualized treatment plans for fine motor, sensory regulation, and feeding disorders. Identify patients needing adaptive equipment and support families in obtaining medically necessary supplies. Accept a variety of patients to treat specific deficits with minimal oversight, including infants and those with sensory-based feeding challenges. Record therapy notes, patient observations, evaluation reports, care plans, and discharge summaries. Instruct clients on effective carryover strategies and develop home exercise programs to maximize functional outcomes. Ensure regular communication with parents to educate families on strategies facilitating progress.
Required Qualifications
- A current State of South Carolina professional license (SC LLR)
- Graduated from an accredited university with a bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Previous pediatric experience is required through employment or clinical rotation

- Sensory & Feeding experience are a plus!
