Job Summary
Deliver pediatric occupational therapy (OT) or occupational therapy assistant (OTA) services in an outpatient setting for children, focusing on play-based and evidence-based approaches to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and visual-motor integration. Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans targeting fine motor development, sensory processing, ADLs, visual-motor skills, and self-regulation; implement play-based and sensory-integrative interventions; document care in Raintree EMR; collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members to promote carryover and skill generalization; contribute to a culture of clinical learning and peer support.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy or Occupational Therapist Assistant program
- Active state Occupational Therapy or Occupational Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical reasoning skills
- Experience working with children with autism and developmental delays preferred
- Commitment to compassionate, family-centered care
