Job Summary
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based occupational therapy services for pediatric patients in home, daycare, and school environments. Address functional skills including fine motor development, sensory processing, coordination, strength, range of motion, self-care, visual-motor integration, behavioral regulation, and activities of daily living. Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as appropriate, and educate families on therapeutic techniques and home programs. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care while completing accurate clinical documentation. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license by anticipated start date
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric experience preferred but not required
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
- Previous experience supervising COTAs is preferred but not required
