Job Summary
Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patient needs. Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders, creating home exercise programs in partnership with caregivers. Collaborate with various providers to coordinate care while completing weekly patient visits and maintaining accurate chart updates, progress summaries, and call logs. Adhere strictly to agency policies, federal, state, and local laws governing home-health pediatric occupational therapy. This role serves families in N. Arlington/Grand Prairie through THERAPY 2000's Fort Worth division, requiring a Texas-licensed therapist with reliability and flexibility to shift priorities based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- current/active license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas
- Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser)
- Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business
- An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years as a pediatric Occupational Therapist
- Experience in a home-health setting
- Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (high-risk infant, etc.)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
