Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Job Summary
Evaluate and administer remedial treatments for pediatric patients in home health settings, including screenings, direct therapy, and caregiver training. Coordinate patient care with office staff and physicians while maintaining records and home programming. Refer clients to appropriate services and participate in Quality Assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Maintain supplies, attend continuing education, and mentor new hires. Serve as a backup service provider as needed. Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, current licensure, and CPR certification required. Valid driver's license and ability to lift 25 pounds necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state-issued professional licensure
- Valid state driver license
- CPR certified
- Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements
- Ability to read and write in simple correspondence
- Effective public speaking in small groups
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to interpret instruction with the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, record keeping and routine database activity
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrate initiative and independent judgment in performing all job responsibilities
