Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Job Summary
Evaluate, organize, and conduct medically prescribed occupational therapy for pediatric patients within the home health setting. Examine, evaluate, and administer remedial treatments including screenings, evaluations, direct treatment, and family/caregiver training regarding status, progress, goals, home programming, and discharge planning. Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines while maintaining communication with patients and families. Refer patients to appropriate services, consult with physicians, and maintain records. Maintain supplies, participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs, and mentor students and new hires. Serve as a backup service provider as needed. Requires Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, current licensure, and a valid driver's license. Full-time position with sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state-issued professional licensure
- Valid state driver license
- CPR certified
- Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to interpret instruction with the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, record keeping and routine database activity
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
