Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Job Summary
Evaluate, administer remedial treatments, and conduct screenings for pediatric patients in home health settings. Direct patients and caregivers in tasks to restore or enhance performance while providing family training on home programming and discharge planning. Coordinate care with office staff and physicians, maintain records, and refer families to appropriate resources. Participate in Quality Assurance, mentor new hires, and present at public education functions. Maintain supplies, manage caseload productivity, and serve as backup for other caseloads as needed. Requires Master's degree, state licensure, and CPR certification. Full benefits package includes health, dental, vision, 401K, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state-issued professional licensure
- Valid state driver license
- CPR certified
- Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements

- Pediatric clinical experience
- Home health experience
- Ability to read and write in simple correspondence with effective public speaking in small groups
- Excellent critical thinking and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to interpret instruction with the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, record keeping and routine database activity
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
