Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children with medically complex needs, focusing on fine motor skills, sensory regulation, feeding, and self-care routines. Provide direct occupational therapy services in home-based settings while monitoring progress and modifying plans to support functional independence. Recommend adaptive equipment and train families on integrating strategies into daily routines. Partner closely with parents to reinforce goals and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, family-centered care. Maintain accurate documentation including evaluations and progress reports. This flexible PRN role offers supportive leadership and access to extensive professional development resources within Pediatric Partners' comprehensive in-home and clinic-based services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Active Occupational Therapy license, OT/L, in Texas
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting with positioning, transfers, and therapeutic activities as needed
