Job Summary
Provide medically prescribed occupational therapy services to pediatric patients within the home health setting under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Direct patients and caregivers in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance while maintaining adequate caseloads with appropriate productivity. Coordinate patient care with supervisors, office staff, and other disciplines, ensuring timely documentation of progress and home programs. Maintain supplies and equipment, proactively communicate with administrative staff for assistance, and serve as a backup service provider for other caseloads as needed. Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Current state-issued professional
- Valid state drivers license
- CPR certified
- Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred
