Job Summary
Conduct pediatric patient care by rooming, evaluating, and documenting for infants, children, and adolescents. Perform clinical tasks including temperature checks, blood pressure, immunizations, venipuncture, splinting, and bladder catheterization. Manage medical supplies, sterilization equipment, and computerized systems while utilizing telephone triage rotation. Maintain high-quality care and efficient patient flow in a fast-paced environment requiring independent work under pressure. Requires active Ohio RN license, 2+ years pediatric office experience, and CPR certification. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with on-site reporting to Kettering or Beavercreek offices. $3,000 sign-on bonus available for RNs.
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio nursing license RN
- Pediatric medical office or hospital experience
- Current CPR Certification
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills
- High ethical standards
- Demonstrated flexible and efficient time management
- Ability to prioritize workload
- Proficient in computerized systems including Microsoft Suite
- Ability to occasionally lift office products, equipment, and supplies, up to 20 pounds
- Must be able to report to Kettering or Beavercreek offices as needed
- Must be able to work independently in a very fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work well under pressure while maintaining quality care and efficient patient flow
- Must be punctual, dependable, flexible, and a good role model
- Strong listening and verbal communication skills
- Sound medical decision-making skills
- Competent and very comfortable giving immunizations and other injections to infants and children daily
- Must possess a solid understanding of pediatric disease processes
- Knowledge of normal pediatric growth and development
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric medical office or hospital experience (2+ years, preferred)
- Telephone triage experience
