Job Summary
Room and evaluate pediatric patients by taking histories and performing vital signs including temperature, height, weight, head circumference, blood pressure, and pulse. Provide quality care through daily immunizations, flu vaccines, antibiotic injections, venipuncture, splinting, O2 saturation checks, bladder catheterization, deep nasal suctioning, and ear irrigation. Maintain medical chart documentation, manage medical supplies, stock rooms, and operate sterilization equipment while rotating through telephone triage. Work independently in a fast-paced environment with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., reporting to Kettering or Beavercreek offices as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio nursing license RN
- Pediatric medical office or hospital experience
- Current CPR Certification
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills
- High ethical standards
- Demonstrated flexible and efficient time management
- Ability to prioritize workload
- Proficient in computerized systems including Microsoft Suite
- Ability to occasionally lift office products, equipment, and supplies, up to 20 pounds
- Must be able to report to Kettering or Beavercreek offices as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric medical office or hospital experience (2+ years, preferred)
- Telephone triage experience
