Job Summary
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) role with Cortica focusing on pediatric neurology and neurodevelopmental care. Responsibilities include completing patient intakes, screenings and assessments; triaging referrals; coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team; practicing within California Board of Nursing guidelines including placing orders and screening tests; documenting encounters in EMR (Athena); and engaging in telehealth Welcome Visits and education programs. Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in practicing state
- Active NP license in practicing state
- Board Certification in AANP or ANCC
- Unencumbered RN and NP license
- Telemedicine skillset including EMR documentation and multiple forms of technology
- Minimum 12 months pediatric outpatient practice
- Proficiency in ADIR/ADOS diagnostic evaluation
- Ability to document in EMR (Athena)
- Excellent communication skills with families and interdisciplinary team
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
- Ability to work in telehealth and in-person settings as needed
