Job Summary
Provide pediatric care in a medical home setting for newborns through adolescents, managing both well and acute care as well as chronic medical problems. Rotate through weekend newborn clinic mornings approximately 3-4 times per year and holiday weekends, with no call required. Precept PNP students and participate in monthly journal club, radiology rounds, and section head meetings. Work within an integrated team including behavioral health therapists, lactation consultants, and on-site social work.
Required Qualifications
- Must have completed an accredited program
- Must be eligible to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations
- Must be able to rotate through weekend newborn clinic and Holiday weekends
- Must be able to rotate approximately 3-4 weekend mornings per year
- Must be able to precept PNP students
- Must be able to teach students, residents, fellows or clinical staff
- Must be able to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced practice clinicians work under the direct supervision of a physician
