Job Summary
Pediatric RN/LPN needed to deliver patient-centered care in an outpatient pediatrics clinic. Responsibilities include patient assessment and triage, administration of medications and treatments, patient and caregiver education, care coordination, and supporting daily clinic operations and patient flow. The role supports providers, maintains accurate documentation, participates in performance improvement, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary health team. Requires Kansas licensure (RN or LPN) and BLS; ambulatory care experience and pediatric-focused skills preferred. Full-time with typical clinic hours; pediatric-focused nursing duties such as immunizations, EKGs, sterile procedures, and ongoing education are included.
Required Qualifications
- RN or LPN licensed to practice in Kansas
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ambulatory care experience
- Strong clinical skills in nursing
- Knowledge of nursing scope of practice as per Nursing Practice Act
- Ability to perform skilled nursing tasks (sterile dressings, EKGs, immunizations, IV fluids)
- Experience with patient education and care coordination
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Willingness to work within a team in a clinic setting
- Ability to manage patient triage and scheduling in a clinic environment
- Compliance with infection control and OSHA standards
