Job Summary
Provide comprehensive care to newborns with critical illnesses or requiring special medical attention, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests and procedures. Develop and implement treatment plans while collaborating with pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care. Communicate effectively with families regarding their infant's condition and treatment plans, and stay updated with the latest developments in neonatology to implement best practices. Participate in training and mentoring junior medical staff. The role involves working in our modern Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with no restrictions on internal movement or future career opportunities. A two-month notice period applies for resignation.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Neonatology
- Valid medical license to practice in Qatar or eligibility to obtain one
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in neonatology
- Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach and commitment to providing high-quality care
- Professional English proficiency
